The Founder and President of FitPro Consulting, Taras Howell established independence at a very young age. Although from humble beginnings, he has not been deterred along his path to success. Originally from Ohio, his journey to Atlanta led him to pursue a Sociology / Pre-law degree from Morehouse College.
While in college, he set out to find a job that wouldn't impede his curriculum. His character, statesmanship, and professionalism quickly landed him a prominent internship with the Senator of Georgia. Taras was increasingly among the first responders toward constituent concerns, generating both verbal and written correspondence on the Senators behalf.
His contribution aided in the planning and implementation of a primary election, although the campaign wasn't favored by the majority. Overall, the experience was rewarding and set the next phase for development. Post election, Taras went on a quest to improve his health and fitness.

From the State Senate to the Local Gym
|
Joining a local health club presented the challenge of balancing school, an exercise program, and the search for new employment. However, this was the catalyst that inspired him to work in the gym. Without prior fitness experience, Taras was able to take on a janitorial position cleaning the exercise equipment. Undeterred, he quickly absorbed the protocols necessary for running the fitness facility.
In a short period, Taras was promoted from floor room janitor to Manager of Operations in one of the world's largest fitness chains. His innovative nature led him to create processes and procedures that added structure to the organization. He quickly became the districts top provider of excellent customer service, attracting the best employees, and producing outstanding results.
With the knowledge he acquired, Taras created a company designed around personal fitness. Since 1993, he's built a loyal client base while helping others achieve their fitness results. He is passionate about reaching his full potential and creates opportunities for others to achieve theirs. Thousands of people benefit from his vision.

With a strong desire to move forward, Taras regularly gives back to the community. For many years, he has volunteered as a youth soccer coach. His knack for athletics has earned him five District Championships and placement in three State Finals. More importantly, his teams have consistently won the Sportsmanship anf Fair Play Award presented by Georgia Youth Soccer Association. In addition, he has held the position of Head Varsity Soccer Coach for Redan High School in Dekalb county. Currently, he continues as the Recreational Commissioner for Gwinnett Soccer Association.
